Christer Högberg joined the TMHE management team from the BT organisation, having served as President of Business Region BT Scandinavia from 1990-1997 and President of BT Europe from 1997-2006. He was born in 1947 and received an MBA from Uppsala University (Sweden) in 1971.

Håkan Dahllöf was born in 1959 and received an MBA from Linköping University (Sweden) in 1990. He joined the BT organisation in 1990. In 2002, Mr Dahllöf became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BT Industries Group. In 2005 he was appointed Deputy CFO of Toyota Material Handling Group (TMHG).

In his current role as TMHE Vice President Business Planning, Mr Dahllöf managed the project of integrating the Toyota and BT materials handling business in Europe. In line with its focus on continuous improvement, TMHE has been reviewing European market needs in detail in order to find the best distribution structure for enhancing customer service and efficiency. Toyota and BT sales and service operations have been merged in a number of countries where it was decided that this would provide even better service and support to customers.

Christer Högberg said: “Since beginning operations in 2006, Toyota Material Handling Europe has undertaken a wide range of activities to develop an organisation that is even better equipped to be the materials handling partner of choice for European business. I am confident that we have the management and operational structure in place to continue the excellent progress we are making in enhancing our offer to customers and strengthening the position of our organisation in Europe.”

Håkan Dahllöf said: “I have appreciated the opportunity of working with the dedicated people of our organisation across Europe as we develop the new Toyota Material Handling organisation in Europe. I look forward to the challenge of leading our company in the future as we provide our customers with even better products and services that meet their specific business needs.”
